Pi Sigma Alpha

Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science National Honor Society, is the only honor society for college students studying political science (including International and Global Studies). Pi Sigma Alpha is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.

The purpose of Pi Sigma Alpha is to recognize students who excel in the study of political science and to spark interest in political science, scholarship and civic participation. Members of Pi Sigma Alpha receive certificates of membership and may also purchase honor cords and honor medallions that normally would be worn at graduation. Membership is a solid resume builder and is an honor that will look especially good on applications to graduate or law school.

To join Pi Sigma Alpha, eligible students must fill out an application and email it to the adviser along with a copy of their current academic audit. New members are accepted in the fall (application deadline is October 1) and in the spring (application deadline is March 1).
